Anyway, yeah. I actually successfully made something that I didn’t fuck up, how great is that?

Actually, it started out with a bunch of fuck-ups.

I looked at the wrong thing and ended up doubling the flour only. Luckily my mom was all, “OMG TOO MUCH FLOUR” so more butter was added and stuff.
The, my mother proceeded to show how STRONG SHE WAS by mashing the stuff. I seriously can’t think of any other word but stuff for this…stuff.

Yeah, my lens wouldn’t open all the way but I took the picture anyway because I am BA. (Notice how strong mom is).

Alright and there is the beautiful asparagus. Honestly, I love the stuff.

So, the recipe said to cut the asparagus stalks into “1/4 inch segments” but I, being the the math genius that I am, thought this meant to make them a half inch.

Asparagus: REVISED.

Onions. I wore sunglasses to cut them I am cool.

Pie in oven with “pie weights”. PAR-BAKE THAT MOTHERFUCKING CRUST.

Sautee them unyuns.

What eventually went in the quiche. It looked pretty gross, you guys.

I honestly have just about nothing to blog about.
Except that I a.) miss Bamboozle more than anything I’ve ever missed in my entire life. Seriously. I feel like I broke up with Bamboozle and we had an amazing relationship and I just want it back. Ugh. I’ll probably write about the entire Bamboozle experience as soon as I feel like it which might be soon.
and b.) This “Papa’s Pizzeria” (originally thought to be called Papa Louie’s) is the best game I have ever played in my life. In it, you play Roy: a plucky young boy who comes into work only to find that his boss has left to go on another adventure…AGAIN! At the request of this mad-man with a huge mustache, you (Roy) are assigned to take care of the shop while he’s gone. It starts out pretty easily but quickly escalades as more and more people hear about your FANTASTIC PIZZA MAKING SKILLS (or so I assume).
Personally, my favorite patron is Marty. He’s really adorable.

Anyway, I highly recommend this game.

1. You have no idea how excited I am about being free again. No more will I have to hear my parents having sex again from being cooped up in my room all day long. No more are the days where I will come home from school and work on my project until 9 o’clock at night, take a shower, and then keep working on it until 2. NO MORE! NO MORE! So, let’s hang out. I’m literally up for anything.

2. Because I have spent the past two weeks cooped up in my house I have had the oppurtunity to watch a few really ace movies and tv shows. Here, let me show you them:

1. (A list inside a list? You betcha!) Good Bye, Lenin! (movie)

It’s a German film and it’s excellent.
I have to admit, however, that the only reason I put it on my Netflix cue is because I saw a commercial for it and the lead actor looked SO CUTE.
Let’s just say I was not disappointed.

Basically the jist (the spell check is telling me that jist is not a word. It definitely is.) of the movie is this: this kid’s crazy-socialist mother had a heart attack when she saw her son getting detained because he was at a rally. She was rushed to a hospital and was in a coma for 8 months. During those 8 months, everything she believed basically vanished. The Berlin wall was torn down, and Western Germans started moving to the East. When she finally awakens from her coma, the doctor gives her son specific instructions not to give her any huge starts because she could have another heart attack. Thus commence the hilarity. He proceeds to make his own tv shows and switches pickle jars around and it’s hilarious and heartbreaking. Oh yeah, and he ends up with a nurse that looks A LOT like Abbie Weaber.

I swear she looks SO MUCH like her when she’s moving about in the actual movie. Lol to that caption too. You’d have to see the movie.

2. Eternal Summer (movie)

Ahh. This movie. Again, I mostly rented it for the pretty (it’s about two gay asian boys. C’MON!) but I got a lot more. Well, no. Actually all I got was all this built up sexual tension and questioning with no resolution whatsoever. And angst. So much angst. Still, it was a really well filmed movie and everything leading up to the end was perfect. The end just felt a little cheated. Like, it was missing something that could have made it spectacular. Sometimes movies are better without resolutions. This one just felt like they were too lazy to write dialouge to finish it.

3. Black Books. (tv show).

I was recomended to watch this from about a thousand people on Omegle. Plus, it’s been on my Netflix for ages so I thought I’d give it a go. SO FUCKING GLAD I DID. It’s crazy. It’s sort of old school. But it’s good. And did I mention crazy? OH AND BRITISH!

Not really much to blog about except for I AM ALMOST DONE WITH MY PROJECT! I JUST NEED TO WATERCOLOR IT! AND I REALLY DON’T WANT TO BUT I GUESS I’M STAYING UP ALL NIGHT TONIGHT TO DO IT AND ALSO WATCHING SNL AND MISSING CHURCH TOMORROW POSSIBLY?

I’ve been talking to some kid that sits at one of the tables next to us for about 4 hours on the phone now and he’s talking about how Davilla chews like a cow and how she always wears boots and how this one girl “does the awkward turtle all the time” and how another girl has the body of a young adult (Melinda) and how Megan is really white. And really everything else he’s saying is how he wants to fuck me really badly. Hahahah, oh my god.

1. So, I’m grounded. But, for real this time. I came home on Thursday only to be fucking massacred by my mother about a letter that I received in the mail about my graduation project. It’s the exact same letter I got a few weeks ago but this time my mom had to sign something for it. OOOOOOH fucking, BIG DEAL. It’s the exact same fucking letter. Anyway, she had this huge fit and now I’m not allowed out of the house until it’s done. I’m actually really pretty far with it, I have 4 pages that only need to be painted. I plan on pulling an all-nighter tonight to get a lot of it done so then I can DO STUFF THIS WEEKEND YEAH!

2. I had my interview at the Lehigh Valley Zoo today. I was pretty nervous but I think it went well. I mean, I gave good answers and talked about how much I like variety in a job and how I love animals. I said “Um” a lot though. I think I’m over-thinking this. I will say that I enjoyed the drive to and fro the zoo. Even if it was long, it was nice and relaxing. Maybe I should be a taxi driver. You talkin’ to me? It makes me sad that no one who reads this blog will understand that reference.

3. So, some of you know (Megan) that I’ve been having some friend problems. I just want to let you guys know that I basically got it all sorted out. At least, I hope so. I really hope so. If I didn’t have my friends then I wouldn’t have much.

4. I’m getting Chinese tonight. I am so ridiculously excited for that. Like, really really. I cannot wait to eat some broccoli in garlic sauce and rice!

5. To answer the last question I asked: my choice would be the same as Mel’s. Ellen Page for realz. Also while we’re on the subject of Ellen Page. I would do her. Hard.
